Abilene, TX – Ashley Davis Injured in Pedestrian Accident on N 15th St
Abilene, TX (July 22, 2020) – An automobile accident involving a pedestrian left one woman seriously injured in Taylor County on Saturday. On July 19, the Abilene Police Department and emergency crews in Abilene were called to the site of a collision on North 15th Street.
Reports provided by local news sources show that 28-year-old Ashley Davis crossed over North 15th Street on foot. As Davis attempted to get into a Dodge Charger parked on the side of the road, she was struck by a silver Toyota pickup truck. The incident left the woman with serious injuries to her neck, shoulder, and head. Davis was rendered medical treatment at the scene of the crash then rushed to a local hospital and admitted for treatment. At this time, the police in Abilene are investigating the cause of the collision.
