Abilene, TX – Auto Accident on Sayles Blvd Leaves One Injured
Abilene, TX (July 17, 2020) – A vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon left one person in Taylor County injured. At approximately 1:45 p.m., on July 15, the Abilene Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 3000 block of Sayles Boulevard.
Reports provided by APD show that a white 2010 Chevrolet sedan was traveling through the intersection of Sayles Boulevard and Edgemont Drive when the vehicle collided with a silver 2015 Kia sedan. Both vehicles sustained front-end damages in the crash.
The 18-year-old female driver of the Kia was uninjured in the collision. The 25-year-old male driver of the Chevrolet sustained injuries in the accident. Medics rendered treatment to the victim at the scene before transporting him to a local hospital for treatment.
At this time, investigations surrounding the cause of the crash are ongoing.
