Abilene, TX – One Injured in Motorcycle Crash on N 1st St
Abilene, TX (December 29, 2020) – An auto accident reported in the Abilene area on Wednesday left one person injured. At around 10:30 a.m., on December 23, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash on North 1st Street.
Reports from the Abilene Police Department show that a red 2017 Dodge Ram pickup truck, driven by a 21-year-old male, failed to yield the right of way at a private drive located in the 3000 block of North 1st Street. As a result, the truck crashed into a white 2006 Yamaha motorcycle, driven by a 48-year-old male.
The rider of the motorcycle was injured. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
