Abilene, TX – One Person Injured in Two-Car Crash on TX-83
Abilene, TX (October 3, 2020) – A vehicle collision in Taylor County left one person injured on Monday, according to reports. At approximately 9:30 p.m., on September 28, the Abilene Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Texas State Highway 83.
Reports provided by the APD show that a white 2006 Nissan and a black 2002 Acura collided in the 1000 block of Texas State Highway 83 for unknown reasons.
The two people inside the Acura, identified as the 18-year-old female driver and her 19-year-old female passenger, were uninjured in the accident.
The driver of the Nissan, a 50-year-old man, and one passenger, a 21-year-old female, were uninjured in the accident. A second passenger in the Nissan, identified as a 15-year-old female, was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries. At this time, the police in Abilene are investigating the accident.
