Abilene, TX – Truck Accident with Injuries Reported on I-20
Abilene, TX (December 2, 2020) – An automobile accident reported in the Abilene area left two people injured on Saturday, according to police. At approximately 4:15 p.m., on November 28, the Abilene Police Department responded to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 20.
Reports from authorities show that a white 2017 Ram pickup truck, a white 2009 Freightliner, and a third vehicle collided on Interstate 20 for unknown reasons. The crash caused severe damage to the Ram, causing multiple airbags to deploy.
The 56-year-old male driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the accident. However, the 30-year-old female driver and the 29-year-old male passenger of the Ram were both transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the Abilene Police Department is investigating the collision.
