Abilene, TX – Woman Injured in Pedestrian Accident on N Pioneer St
Abilene, TX (October 17, 2020) – One woman was left critically injured after an auto accident on Monday evening. Just before 8 p.m., on October 12, the Abilene Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on North Pioneer Street.
Reports show a 40-year-old female was walking in the 700 block of North Pioneer Street when she was struck by an unidentified vehicle. After arriving at the scene of the incident, emergency crews located the woman lying in the road. The woman sustained critical injuries in the accident.
The woman was transported to a local hospital via ambulance. After arriving, she was transported via helicopter to a hospital in the Metroplex due to the severity of her injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Abilene Crime Stoppers.
