Baird, TX – Cynthia Myers & Randell Myers Killed in Crash on Cherry St (US-283)
Baird, TX (September 28, 2020) – An automobile accident in the Baird area claimed the lives of two victims on Saturday. On September 26, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to an automobile accident reported on US Highway 183, just 19 miles south of Baird.
Reports from troopers with DPS show that 67-year-old Randell Myers and his wife, 64-year-old Cynthia Myers, were riding a motorcycle on Farm to Market Road 2926. As the couple passed through the intersection with US Highway 183, they were struck by a pickup truck.
Both Cynthia and Randell were fatally injured in the accident. Both victims were declared deceased at the scene by responding officers. No other injuries were reported in this accident.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation with troopers from DPS.
