Big Spring, TX – Tony Jetton Struck & Killed by Vehicle on I-20
Big Spring, TX (August 6, 2020) – The victim who lost their life in a crash late Thursday evening has been identified by authorities. Just after 10 p.m., on July 30, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 20.
Reports provided by officers with DPS show that 44-year-old Tony L. Jetton was walking near the Interstate 20 service road when he was struck by an eastbound Chevrolet pickup truck. Jetton sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Authorities confirmed that Jetton passed away after arriving. The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured in the accident. At this time, DPS is investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
