Brownfield, TX – Brad Moore Killed in Crash on US-62/82
Brownfield, TX (January 4, 2021) – The former mayor of Brownfield has lost his life in a vehicle collision in the Brownfield area on Saturday afternoon, according to local news sources.
Reports from authorities show that 68-year-old Brad Moore was riding in a vintage pickup truck that was being towed down US Highway 62/82 by a 2020 Toyota Tundra. As the vehicle traveled down the roadway, the vintage 1970 truck was rear-ended by a 2007 Chrysler minivan.
Moore and the driver of the minivan were both injured in the accident. Both victims were transported to Brownfield Regional Medical Center. Moore later passed away due to the extent of his injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
