Haskell, TX – Two Killed & Child Injured in Crash on US-277
Haskell, TX (November 27, 2020) – An auto accident in Haskell claimed the lives of two victims while leaving a third victim injured. On November 26, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a crash on US Highway 277.
According to reports at approximately 10:50 a.m., 55-year-old Michael Bowman was making a right turn from US Highway 277 onto Business 277 in a Ford pickup truck. After turning the corner, the Ford collided with a Mazda MA 5, which was driven by 48-year-old Jose Minan.
Manan and his passenger, 44-year-old Sara Minan, were both fatally injured in the accident. Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.
A child in the vehicle, who was identified as a 9-year-old boy, was injured in the accident. The child was transported to Hendrick Medical Center for treatment. At this time, investigations surrounding the crash are underway with the Texas Department of Public Safety.
