Idalou, TX – Truck Crash on FM400 Leaves Motorcyclist Injured
Idalou, TX (Aug. 1, 2020) – A motorcycle crash on Wednesday in Idalou left one person injured. On July 29, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on the northbound side of Farm to Market Road 400.
Just before 2:30 p.m., a semi-truck was traveling north of Farm to Market Road 400 when the driver failed to yield the right of way at the intersection with US Highway 62. As a result, the semi-truck collided with a motorcycle, which was eastbound on US Highway 62. The impact of the collision left the motorcyclist with undisclosed injuries. The victim was transported to University Medical Center in Lubbock for medical treatment. At this time, DPS troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
