Keller, TX – Ashley Walraven Injured when Vehicle Drives Through Salon on Keller Parkway
Keller, TX (October 21, 2020) – One person was left seriously injured after a pedestrian accident on Friday afternoon. At around 1 p.m., on October 16, emergency crews were called to the site of a serious accident on Keller Parkway.
Reports provided by local authorities show that 20-year-old Ashley Walraven was working as a nail technician in the A&T Nails salon located in the 940 block of Keller Parkway.
A driver vehicle outside of the salon was attempting to pull out of their parking spot. As the driver attempted to hit the brake pedal to wait for passing vehicles, they hit the gas pedal instead. The vehicle launched forward and crashed through the salon, striking Walraven. The incident caused severe damage to the front of the salon, which is located in suite 100 in the complex.
Walraven was injured in the incident after becoming pinned between the vehicles. The woman was rushed to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Grapevine for treatment.
At this time, the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. No other person involved in the accident was injured.
