Lubbock, TX – Accident on 130th St (FM 1585) Leaves One Injured
Lubbock, TX (August 20, 2020) – A motor vehicle crash reported on Wednesday morning left one person injured in the Lubbock area. Just before 8:30 a.m., on August 19, the Lubbock Police Department reported to the site of a crash on 130th Street (Farm to Market Road 1585).
Reports provided by authorities show that a white pickup truck and an SUV collided on 130th Street at the intersection with Upland Avenue. The crash resulted in damages to the front-end of the pickup truck while leaving the SUV completely destroyed. The crash left one person injured. The victim was rendered treatment on-site by EMS and rushed to an area hospital for further care. Crews blocked off the roadway between the intersections of 130th Street and Milwaukee Avenue and 114th Street and Upland Avenue as they worked to clear the scene of the crash. By noon, police were able to reopen the road. At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are ongoing.
