Lubbock, TX – Pedestrian Injured in Collision on TX-327 Spur
Lubbock, TX (September 2, 2020) – An auto accident reported on Wednesday morning left one person injured in Southwest Lubbock. At approximately 8 a.m., on September 2, the Lubbock Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Texas 327 Spur.
Reports provided by authorities show that a male pedestrian was walking near the intersection of Texas 327 Spur and West Loop 289 when he was struck by a vehicle. The man sustained serious injuries in the accident.
Medical personnel rushed to the scene of the crash and immediately began to render aid to the man at the scene. The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital where he was hospitalized with serious injuries.
At this time, the Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Investigation Unit is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
