San Angelo, TX – Accident on US-87 Leaves Two People Injured
San Angelo, TX (August 25, 2020) – An auto accident reported on Friday evening in the San Angelo area sent two victims to area hospitals with injuries. On August 21, the San Angelo Police Department and firefighters responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 87.
Reports provided by authorities show that a vehicle was attempting to turn onto US Highway 87 from Farm to Market Road 2105 when the vehicle was struck by a second vehicle at the intersection. A red Ford Ranger and a silver Chevrolet SUV were both severely damaged in the crash. Two ambulances were requested to the site of the crash. Both victims were treated at the scene and transported to area hospitals for treatment. Deputies from the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Texas Department of Public Safety with directing traffic through the area. At this time, the Department of Public Safety is investigating the collision.
