San Angelo, TX – John Hartman Fatally Struck on W Houston Harte Expressway
San Angelo, TX (December 11, 2020) – An automobile accident reported in the San Angelo area claimed one man’s life during the early morning hours on Thursday. At around 5:30 a.m., on December 10, the San Angelo Police Department responded to the site of a crash on the West Houston Harte Expressway.
Reports from authorities show that 31-year-old John Hartman was walking near the 4000 block of West Houston Harte Expressway Frontage Road, near the Woodsprings Suites, when he was struck by a Nissan Maxima, which was traveling east on the frontage road.
Hartman sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Emergency crews arrived at the scene of the accident and pronounced the man deceased. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
