San Angelo, TX – One Injured in Crash on US-87 (US-67)
San Angelo, TX (August 19, 2020) – A car crash reported on Saturday in Toms County left two people injured. Just after 10 p.m., on August 15, the San Angelo Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Us Highway 87.
Reports provided by authorities show that a black 2009 Pontiac sedan collided with a gray 2010 Chevrolet on US Highway 87 at the intersection with North Bryant Boulevard. The Chevrolet sustained mild to moderate damages to the front right-hand side. The Pontiac sustained moderate front-end damages in the crash.
A 62-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman inside the Chevrolet both sustained injuries in the accident. Both victims were transported to area hospitals for further treatment of injuries. The 35-year-old female driver and the 38-year-old male passenger in the Pontiac were uninjured. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
