San Angelo, TX – Two Injured in Southwest Blvd Collision

San Angelo, TX (July 14, 2020) – An automobile accident in Tom Green County on Saturday sent two women to a local hospital with injuries. At 6:45 p.m., on July 11, the San Angelo Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Southwest Boulevard.

Reports from the SAPD show that a collision involving two silver 2018 Chevrolet sedans occurred in the 4000 block of Southwest Boulevard after the 24-year-old male driver in one of the sedans disregarded a stop and go signal at the intersection with Sunset Drive.

The 30-year-old driver of the second Chevrolet and her 5-year-old female passenger were both injured in the collision. Both victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
