San Angelo, TX – Worker Struck by Vehicle on Sunset Dr near Sherwood Way
San Angelo, TX (September 25, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident in the San Angelo area left one person injured on Friday morning. On September 25, the San Angelo Police Department responded to the scene of an accident on Sunset Drive.
Reports show that an employee was working at a carwash near the intersection of Sherwood Way and Sunset Drive. While removing a trailer hitch from the back end of a pickup truck on the premises, the driver of another vehicle accidentally accelerated their vehicle and crashed into the worker.
The worker became pinned between the pickup truck and the second vehicle. The worker sustained injuries in the accident. The victim was rendered aid at the scene and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries.
