Pedestrian Accidents in Texas

San Angelo, TX – Worker Struck by Vehicle on Sunset Dr near Sherwood WayPedestrian accidents throughout the state of Texas send more than 7,500 people to area hospitals for treatment of injuries. Although various traffic-related incidents result in minor injuries, pedestrians are more likely to sustain serious and life-altering injuries due to the fact that they are exposed to the force of motor vehicles. As a result, pedestrians are more likely to suffer brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and broken bones that have a significant impact on their health and wellbeing. Although we only wish that victims are able to recover from their injuries, many are unable to do so. Instead, they are forced to endure life-long challenges from their injuries and disabling conditions. When pedestrians are injured in accidents resulting from another motorist’s negligent actions, it is crucial that they reach out to a pedestrian accident attorney in Abilene as soon as possible to ensure their legal rights are protected. In many cases, victims who are injured in accidents caused by the negligence of other drivers can collect compensation to cover the costs of medical treatment, lost wages, pain, and suffering, as well as a variety of other damages they face.
