Snyder, TX (December 6, 2020) – An automobile accident reported in the Snyder area claimed the lives of several people on Friday evening. On November 27, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the site of a crash on US Highway 180.

Reports from authorities show that a head-on collision occurred on the westbound side of US Highway 180 at approximately 10 p.m. The crash left both vehicles with significant damage.

Three people involved in the crash were killed instantly. The victims have since been identified as 27-year-old Larry Jaramillo, 25-year-old Crystal Flores, and a 2-year-old boy.

Several other victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment. 26-year-old Sai V. Lingamaneni and 29-year-old Mounika Gouni were transported to UMC in Lubbock for treatment. 26-year-old Megmana Gangarapu was transported to Covenant Hospital in Lubbock following the crash where she succumbed to her injuries. Two other victims, identified as 57-year-old Narsima Gouni and 48-year-old Laxmi Gouni were both injured in the crash.

At this time, the cause of the incident remains under investigation.
