San Angelo, TX – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident on Ben Ficklin Rd

San Angelo, TX (July 7, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Monday left the driver of a black four-door sedan injured in San Angelo. On July 6, the San Angelo Police Department responded to the scene of a traffic accident on Ben Ficklin Road.

Reports from the SAPD’s Traffic Division state that a white Ford F-550 pickup truck was traveling north on US Highway 87. The truck collided with a black Honda at the intersection with Ben Ficklin Road as the driver of the sedan attempted to make a left turn onto the highway.

The driver of the Honda sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police determined that the driver of the pickup truck ran a red light at the intersection. Police issued the pickup driver a citation for his actions. At this time, the SAPD’s Traffic Division is investigating.
