Midland County, TX – Andrew Ramirez Killed in Truck Accident on FM 1787
Midland County, TX (August 22, 2020) – An automobile accident involving two vehicles claimed one man’s life on Wednesday just 16 miles south of Odessa. At around 6 a.m., on August 19, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 1787.
Reports provided by authorities show that 57-year-old Andrew Ramirez was driving east on Farm to Market Road 1787 when his Chevrolet Silverado collided head-on with a Mack truck towing a semi-trailer. The crash resulted in extensive damages to the Chevrolet. Ramirez incurred fatal injuries and was immediately declared deceased at the site of the crash. The driver of the semi-truck, who was identified as a 41-year-old male, was not injured in the accident. At this time, troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
