Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
Each year, more than 600 pedestrians are fatally injured in traffic-related incidents throughout the state of Texas. Although these accidents are preventable and lawmakers are constantly enacting laws and imposing rules to protect those traveling on foot, we continue to see them victimized at an alarming rate. Statistics show that around 80% of all fatal collisions are a result of driver error. When drivers are intoxicated, distracted, or engaging in reckless behaviors while driving, they place others at extraordinary risk of being harmed.
